How do I transfer songs from one iTunes library to another?

I have added songs from both iTunes and other programs, such as Limewire and Myspace. Now that I have a new computer, I would like to transfer all of my songs, but it will only allow me to transfer purchases from iTunes. (I have an iTouch.) Is there any way to transfer my songs from Limewire and Myspace to my new computer? HELP!!!

Yes, you can do this but not with iTunes.

There are programs out there that will let you copy music from your ipod to any computer running itunes. A couple I've used are MediaPilot and also iPod 2 iTunes.

They both do the trick, but MediaPilot also lets you transfer music to your cell phone and will make ring tones out of existing itunes music files, so it's my fav between the 2 programs.

No. See Itunes does not really 'store' your songs onto there server. Itunes simply goes into your hard drive and searches for songs you have on your computer, and simply displays them. So when your computer crashes, thows songs no long exist. The reason you can download songs you have purchased is because Itunes has them stored on there server already for people to buy and download.
