P0430 troubleshooting code on my 2000 NISSAN MAXIMA SE??

i have this "check engine soon" light popped on my 2000 nissan maxima SE. i went to autozone to have it checked out. so they gave me this code "P0430" regarding my catalytic converter. what do i need to do? and will it be a pricey thing to fix? is there a way to turn that light down because it really bothers me when i drive.

Stay away from dealer. Go to a muffler/exhaust shop and have them check the converter on bank 2.

there might be a computer reprogram for that code/ computer program, you would need to take it to the dealer to find out.

P0430 catalyst effieiency bank 2. catalyst is most likely worn out .
suggest factory catalyst assembly, if replacing.
