Hmm...I've never read any of them. But, if i had to choose.

I would probably read. "Black, White, and Jewish" or "The Woman Warrior". Those two titles are more appealing. LoL.

definitely the glass castle. it's an autobiography but it reads like fiction. it's a fantastic book! it's about jeannette walls' childhood and how she dealt with an extremely weak mother, drunk father, poverty, and her three siblings. I guarantee that you will love it!

do you by any chance go to miss porter's school?

I've read every book you've mentioned except Black, White, and Jewish.

I'm a bit torn between The Woman Warrior and The Glass Castle.
Out of those two I like The Glass Castle more, but a lot of people find the book very depressing so I suggest The Woman Warrior.

It's a very interesting story about a young Chinese American woman growing up listening to her mother tell stories about women warriors, as well as all how women need to prove they aren't worthless the way much of Chinese society seems to think they are.

    Great read.
