Is this really a UK site?
Why is there all this stuff about Obama? Obama is like what Gertrude Stein said about Oakland, California - "there's no 'there' there". : )

I'm on via UK flag and showing UK and Ireland questions and still get questions from other countries.
I think all English language questions get lumped together.

No we are all about Amerika..and our effection for
Obama and the McCain..and maybe a third party Paul Ron
-
no dude the Brit channel is some where else
click the union jack at the bottom of the page and it will take you there
and yes i know its really not called the union jack unless it is hanging from a ship
Source(s):
some questons do get lumped but if you use the flag you will get more of your areas questons than if you use another countrys flag

I'm pretty sure this is the American version and there is also a UK and Aussie version but I'm not sure.

If you are talking about Yahoo Answers, then no, it's not a UK site. It's international.

I am on Yahoo Canada.
Check the buttons at the bottom of the page.
Yahoo tends to dump all english pages into one.
UK and Ireland, like Ozz are separate though.

Gertude would have voted for Obama even though she was in love with Mrs. Roosevelt.

Both Gertrude and Alice B Toklas would have been Obama supporters.
It's interesting to us here in the UK that an Afro-American will be the next president of the USA.

That's a change from the norm actually.
Usually it's about how much they hate Americans.

Mo you are on an all English Questions site. if you go to the bottom of the page you will see various flags. press your mouse over the Union Jack icon and that will get you onto the UK & Ireland questions. i also get fed up with the USA elections in the same way as i get fed up with out own, which is a case of what bunch of clowns do we have making our lives miserable now

there is more to it than what flag you click. if you drop down far enough on the left column, you can chose to show all english questions, or only questions from your site of choice. however, from my explorations, anyone can go to whatever flag site they chose and participate as much as language allows. great fun, isn't it?

I am on the 'UK and Ireland' channel and I see all the Obama / McCain questions. Clicking the flag doesn't appear to filter out the US-specific questions, despite what a previous answerer has said.
