Army car sale Scam?

This is most likely a scam right? Guy claims to be in military going to Iraq and sells a car cheap. ex: 2005 Acura Rl for $4100 and only takes payment through a service like escrow

Definite scam. Don't contact or reply to them. The "escrow service" they are using is phony as is the whole deal. There is no car, no guy going to Iraq or anything else they have told you. All they want is access to your money.

This is a common scam (a person saying they are in the military).

At worst, they could sell my car at the used car dealer for MORE than what they are advertising. So why?

Very common scam. They are actually scammers from overseas.

Always a recent high-end car for VERY cheap, always offering to use some form of "Buyer Protection Program", always offers to ship the car to you and let you "inspect it for 7 days".

Run, far far away from this.
