What are the long term effects of ibuprofen overdose?

About two and a half years ago I took 40 200mg ibuprofen inside of five minutes. I did not go to the hospital for treatment, and the only side effects I felt were severe cramping, stomach pains, and extreme exaustion. I still take it within reason periodically for headaches and menstrual cramping. My concern is this: what are the long term effects of my actions?

Note: I do not need any lectures on the stupidity of what I did. I realize that I was incredibly lucky. At the time I was not healthy on an emotional level. I am only looking for what harm the ibuprofen may have caused me and how it could possibly effect my future.

At the time I was 5'7 and 145 lbs.

Biggest acute affect of taking so much ibuprofen is gastric bleeding in your stomach or kidney failure (especially if you already have kidney disease).

Your liver has probably taken a severe beating from what you did but since you were probably physically healthy that time, your body has recovered from it.
