How long until Yeast Infection Actually effects your Reproductive System?

Me and my sister were looking online and we think we both have it because all the symptoms are correct. How long can you have it until it actually effects your reproductive system?
Please Help! We are scared. We are only 13 and 14. :(

First off...calm down. If a yeast infection became so severe at to affect your reproductive system...you´d be close to dead before it happened. So look on the bright side. :)

    K. enough joking around. I know yeast infections can be quite frustrating and being that you´re 13 and 14, you´re probably scared as well. Try to relax. Millions upon millions of people experience yeast infections at least 1 time in their lives. Try the following natural treatments first.

The symptoms (you may not experience all of them):
    - white cottage cheese-like discharge
    - some odor
    - dryness (can cause bleeding)
    - digestive problems
    - itchiness
    - burning urination
    - painful intercourse
    - a feeling of just not being "normal"

Here are some safe, natural cures you can implement.

    - avoid scented soaps
    - avoid sugars and complex carbs for a week
    - air out the infected area while you're sleeping at night
    - add grapefruit extract to your water during the day (balances hormones)
    - eat probiotics like cottage cheese and yogurt
    - shower frequently
-drink lots of water and eat plenty of fiber to flush the infection

It doesnt affect fertility at all, but you should see your doctor to find out what is causing it. please list your symptoms and whether or not you're sexually active, i know it sounds dumb because you're both just kids but it happens...
