World Of Warcraft Clarification?

Alright so I downloaded the demo and played the game for 10 days and loved it but I am not yet willing to pay 15 Bucks a month to play the game. I was thinking if I buy the world of warcraft battle chest (game with the expansion). Will I be able to play the non online version for free... I mean just lvl up and do quests? or I will have to register (pay a monthly fee) to play the at all... Thanks for answering...

No, there is not a non online version. If you want free world of warcraft go to http://www.omg-wow.com/ It is one of the best private server's around and it is free. This server is much faster leveling than normal wow, but very fun. If you want one more like wow there are many other private servers just google wow private servers and you should find many lists. But omgwow is the best :). Just follow the connection guide and make an account. :)

In the omgwow private server loot drops are increased by 10x and the exp you get is increased 50X. On the server it takes me about 5 hours to get to 70 (depending on the class) To level you just kill mobs around your level to level up, and then you do level 70 raid dungeons and pvp to get gear once you are level 70. It kinda sounds boreing but it's really fun.

I play WoW, though I don't have any direct experience with the Battle Chest. But after a quick search, it only appears to be a bundle of WoW and the Burning Crusade expansion.

You cannot play WoW on the Blizzard servers without paying monthly. They do give discounts if you buy months in bulk. Like paying 3 or 6 months in advance you can get it down to like $13 and $12 a month. (WoW is only an on-line game, there is no non-online version of it.)

Blizzard makes excellent games and the reason this has a fee is because you're connecting to their servers which require continual maintenance, their bandwidth fees, and development costs (like Burning Crusade and Wrath/Lich King). They actually put that monthly fee to good use by keeping the games updated with new and fun content.

I'm guessing their new game Diablo 3 will not be monthly. Although it is a different style of game, it looks really cool.
