How to listen to Ipod in car?

Question

If my car has no cassette player to hook up my ipod is an FM transmitter the only option to listen to your ipod while driving? cuz I know some of these transmitters still sound staticy and no point in paying 60-100 bucks if it wont work perfectly clear...?

The newer model of cars has a plug-in for mp3's w/c gives u a better quality sound, but if your car is an old model it may not have that option.
The only option you have now is to use the fm transmitter.
I don't knw of any other way, sorry

Im going to have to disagree with Michael as doing that is far more hazardous than just listening to it through speakers.

I would recommend having an auxilary jack installed. (great sound quality and about same price as fm transmitter)
