Translation help! (English to Hebrew.)?

Question

I am interested in getting a tattoo of the symbol/word for "Faith" in Hebrew & would greatly appriciate an accurate translation. Also, if you could translate the words: grace, hope, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. And also "Jesus" or "Yahweh". You get a tattoo in a language you don't know at your own risk.

faith -- אמונה -- emuna
grace -- חן -- chen (not sure if this is the Christian theological concept, though)
hope -- תקווה -- tikva
love -- אהבה -- ahava
joy -- שמחה -- simcha (or ששון -- sason)
peace -- שלום -- shalom
patience -- סבלנות -- savlanut
kindness -- חסד -- chesed
goodness -- טוב -- tuv
faithfulness -- נאמנות -- ne'emanut
gentleness -- עדינות -- adinut
self control -- שליטה עצמית -- shlita atsmit
Jesus -- ישו -- yeshu (as it's normally said by most Hebrew speakers), believers often say ישוע -- yeshua

As far as the thing about the curse, some religious Jews have retroactively (somewhat facetiously) interpreted the form Yeshu as an initialism of yimach shmo vezichro -- 'may his name and memory be erased', but this is after the fact and in fact Yeshu is just a short form of Yeshua (like Josh is of Joshua). Yeshua itself is a shortened form of Yehoshua, which is in fact 'Joshua'. I guess that believers like the form Yeshua because it's more obviously related to the root for 'salvation'.

As for the Tetragrammaton, I guess I'm still too superstitious to write it out.

ok don't thake the one Joe B gave you for Jesus! I know in Israel it's pretty common to say "Yeshu" and many Israelis don't do it intentionally, but actually, it is a curse! It means something like "may his name be wiped out". His real name was Yeshua, which means salvation or God saves. He gave you the right word in English transliteration but not in Hebrew so be careful.

Did you pray about having a tattoo? I don't want to sound legalistic but maybe that's not the way God wants us to express our love for him... there are many better ways. In the book of revelation it says that we are "tatooed" by God :-) so to speak, isn't that enough?
