I need a cheap plus size wedding dress in indiana?

i wear a 16w and i want a dress that isnt poofy or have a long train. something sweet and simple. almost hippyish. with a chapel train or none. i cant find anything i like at all!!!!!

You know, once I was looking for a used piece of furniture so I headed down the street to the Salvation Army Family Store, I was trying to make my way back to the furniture and I noticed to my right there were some wedding dresses, not a few, but a lot! I was curious and went over, I was SHOCKED!! A huge assortment, all minimally priced, and in great condition. I immediately thought about how much I spent on my dress, wore it once and how it is stored in a closet at my mom's. Lo and behold, there was a VERY similar dress to mine that would fit for around $60. So I made a mental note that if I knew anyone getting married on a budget, I would definitely recommend. And, I am sure they have those stores in Indiana. Good Luck!!

I got my dress on ebay. You take your measurements (they tell you exactly what to measure) and they custom make you a dress. They come from china and are cheap prices, but gorgeous dresses. I got mine and all my friends think I paid $600 for it, but paid very little for it. I will email you what I paid for it... They are gorgeous though! You can get whatever you want. Just search wedding dress and you will find them!

edit: well I was going to email you how much I paid, but you don't allow it, lol! But you can see for yourself how much they are when you take a look.

How about a white bed sheet? 500 thread count, very elegant.

I'm Kidding!! Just messing with ya ;) But seriously.... I feel your pain, it was a royal pain in my butt to find a good dress for not a lot of dough. I'm an 18W and I found mine at David's Bridal and it was relatively inexpensive. Have you looked there yet?

try www.bridalonlinestore.com they are based in Ohio, and its strictly an online operation you have to know your correct measurements, remember wedding gowns run smaller than your average size clothing so you may have to go up a size or two {Lord knows I did}....lol

They are reasonably priced, I'm a plus sized bride too so I was happy to find this site, they have very similar dressed to DB and other styles as well, dresses can start from $199 up to $599 {I think that's the highest I've seen them}; they are all gorgeous, you get to chat with a customer service rep while your looking at the dress styles and ask any questions you want, plus their site is extremely information just check under FAQ, they ship via UPS and your dress will usually arrive within 5-6 days, unless you want a dress they don't have in stock, they also do alterations but they recommend you get them done locally for practicality reasons of course.

I highly recommend you try them its a wonderful web site and the customer service reps are very very helpful too.

I whole-heartedly agree with cranberry_juice33 about http://www.bridalonlinestore.com/ They are phenomenal and you submit your measurements and they can custom-make it or you can just order a size and have it altered if you need to after you get it.

I'm a size 26 myself and plan on getting mine here... and also my bridesmaid dresses too!!!
