Does anyone know if the dog music works?

i saw this thing on the news that said playing a certain kind of music would help a dog to relax. [like for the 4th of july with all the fireworks going off] b/c my dog always gets scared when the 4th of july comes around.

I wouldn't waste your money on it. If you have a radio, turn it to a slow station, or turn your TV onto a relatively 'mellow' station if you want to play some sounds to calm your dog down.

I have always turned the radio on to a calm station - almost boring - music station to drown out the fireworks. If possible, put the dog and the radio in a small room (maybe bathroom) that is away from all windows so less will be heard....close the door, but leave the light on.

I personally put Jazz on the radio for my Tzu... those cd's are great.. but can be a bit pricey.. Jazz relaxes her and calms her when im not home.

I don't know if any CD will help during fireworks, but I have tried many of them and I find this one to the best out there.
