Where is the best place to go to see fireworks in Indianapolis?

I am new to the area and do not know where we should sit to watch the fireworks.

White river state park. There's a big lawn that you can sit a watch. It's one of the most famous spot to watch downtown fireworks. From the park, you can walk on the bridge to cross the river to the zoo side and watch it from there. I think it's a nicer spot because it's less crowded and you will see the whole downtown and river and fireworks altogether.

my family and i will be going to fort harrison. they have a carnival and it is alot more family friendly. last year we watched them downtown on roof top parking and it was a party scean. something my daughter and i didnt care for.
