I have just been given a small Calla Lily. Can I plant it outside?

I have just been given a small pink Calla Lily and would like to know whether or not it can be planted outside once it gets a little bit bigger? My garden gets some sunlight in the morning, until approximately 1pm and then gets covered in shade. Please help! I am currently in the middle of fixing up the garden and thought it would look lovely outside.

Sure you can. Callas will take full sun to part shade. Perennial here in SC (zone 8)
