both are actually good options. we need enough vitamin C (that could be found in the lemon) and vitamin E to prevent stretch marks. dry skin is also more prone to stretch marks, thus olive oil will be good to keep our skin hydrated. an article i found in http://clearstretchmarks.com/stretch-mar… describes how vitamin E can help reduce stretch marks.

Any emollient lotion, cream, oil or skin conditioner you apply to stretch marks will likely be better than doing nothing at all.

Most of the time (depending on natural skin color) they will fade from a reddish color, to a nearly invisible 'silver' as the years go by.

Unfortunately, other than surgery, there is nothing that will completely eliminate them.

Try embracing your stretch marks as a badge of honor, especially if you earned them from having a child or are the lucky recipient of a voluptuous body with lots of curves :-)

Ive had 3 children, and hardly any stretch marks to show it...

I bought Vitamin E capsules and broke them open and actually used the oil out of them, while i was pregnant...No stretchmarks at all!

Did the same later on, i just bought the vitamin E oil in the bottle, it works great..

My daughter has had a problem with weight issues, and she is using vitamin e oil also...it is helping tremendously...

Ive never heard of the lemon and olive oil, but it sure wouldnt hurt to try, especially if its coming from a doctor...
I have heard that eating lemons is great for our skin also....
But sometimes thats hard to do...lol

But just try it all, and see what works for ya...
    Hope this helps some...
    Take care
