What to grow in shade?

Question

I'm interested in growing flowering vines, vegetable or fruit plants in partial shade. I'm not sure what zone I live in, but I live in Pennsylvania.

Hastas - they grow very quickly and do very well in the shade. They have big leaves the look very pretty in the landscaping.

Oops just noticed that you wanted a vine plant or veggie, but I'll leave my post here anyway.
