Any advice as to locations in central park, hair and makeup, dress shopping, photographers, accomodation close to central park for a wedding party, times/dates/seasons? permits etc.

i would do an outdoor ceremony in central park in mid/late september... followed by a small reception at a local restaurant. see if you could get a dinner party price for X amount of people you have attending.
