Why do (mostly older) men parade around naked in the locker room?

I'm 22. Do you just not care when you get older? It's extremely offensive when men walk around naked in the locker room of my gym.

I see my own shlong at least five times a day when I pee, and already I've hit my penis quota for the day.

How can other men not care that they're basically exposing themselves to their peers?

I find this highly offensive, especially the fat and out of shape men, it's just gross.

And how about shaving naked? Are you kidding me? I get within inches of a$$ whenever I have to go to the bathroom. I don't even go to grab a paper towl after washing my hands in fear of wrapping my hands around another penis.

Why do you men do this? Have you no consideration for others?

What are you scared of? I mean, I dont exactly like seeing naked men in the locker room either, but it does not offend me, since it is a freaking locker room. If you dont wanna see it, dont look at it! Thats what I do, instead of staring at grandpas what-nots, I concentrate on getting my shoes on and stuff like that.

I feel the same way about women. Just because we're all born with vaginas doesn't mean I want to frolic naked with them. People are so weird. I can't explain it.

Sorry but I just don't know why you are looking if you don't like it.

Ok, here's a good idea. How about personally talking to them and tell them that their penises bother you, and that you want them to put some clothes on. Tell them that you can't stop looking at them that way, and that you would appreciate them dressing in the locker room.

it's a locker room.. for showering and changing clothes. it was meant for people to be naked in it.

in the gym locker room, all of us girls walk around in undies. if i need to borrow a shirt i don't mind walking across the room in my undies to get it. we also hang out and chat while dressing/undressing.

i used to be fussy like you and hide everything but then i realized we all had the same thing so why did it matter?

why does the human body disgust you? it's natural and nothing to be ashamed of.

This question has me hysterically laughing! Thanks for making me look like a mad woman at work lol. I was just asking one of my friends who is also a girl why guys stand at urinals and have complete conversations, and we women who have the luxury of hiding behind a stall are quiet and try to pee quietly. Well either that or talk unusually loud to hide the pee sounds. I've heard women singing, let their phone ring or the itune go or a healthy sniffle loudly and a healthy cough a lot. We women in the locker room get changed in the weirdest ways, in ways where you will not see a thing. I have learned so many tricks to get changed with exposing myself lol. I can change my underwear top and bottom while my cloths are still on. I'm being honest. Although we were very conservative because there was a hole in the wall and it was on the side where the boys locker room was connected. It was small but if you really wanted to you can see.

In addition to my answer. I would be stained for life if I had to see members of my own gender frolicking naked through the locker room every time I went to the gym.

You have some serious insecurity issues with your own body including perfectionism and comparing to others. You also perhaps lack self confidence.

It is you with the problem. Not the other men. Its IS a locker room, not a public street.

Its the human body and they come in all ages, shapes and sizes.

PS: Unless you reach out and grab the penis yourself (which you may want to and you're just in denial) it will not reach out and grab you. You are safe to get a paper towel.

Most guys that go to the gym really don't find it to be that big of a deal to be naked in front of other men. I have played sports in high school and in college and sorry we didn't have separate bathrooms for each person. I have 7 brothers so its no big deal, sorry to offend you but it just isn't that big of a deal to us older guys

I agree that the naked old men are gross, especially the fat and/or wrinkly ones. But it is a locker room where people do get naked.They don't have to flaunt it around but some people just do; perhaps to gross us out. If it bothers you that much don't go in there! If you have to, get in and get out as quick as you can and keep you eyes above waist level.

I've noticed the exact same thing. Most of the younger guys will use a towel if they need to walk around the locker room at the gym I go to. I think when you reach a certain age you just don't give a crap anymore. My favorite is a guy who hikes his leg up on a stool and uses a hair dryer on his nuts.
