Has your photobucket been hacked by the # NetDevilz # ? If so what browser do you use? Is Photobucket aware?

Question

Some photobucket users are experiencing a gray screen with a Turkish Hacking site's 'clever' trick. Do not flame on them because they are Turkish, there are hackers that are from the U.S. and other parts of the world as well. How many others are experiencing, and do you use IE, Firefox, or another browser? If so...please e-mail [e-mail] with your concerns, and if anyone has gotten a response, or when this will probally be fixed, and if it is possible to just wait it out.

The problem is fixed. And people who e-mailed customer support should have received a fixed confirmation. One hour without Photobucket. Good news is it should be fixed in a couple of hours for everybody. :3

This is being reported around the world. As of right now (2:22pm EST Wednesday 18 July) the issue still exists. I have personally attempted resolving the site using a number of different public DNS servers in addition to our Enterprise solution. All fail. Photoshop.com resolves to the hackers ISP. forms.photoshop.com doesn't resolve whatsoever.

[e-mail] does not and has not responded to any emails that I'm aware of - including the one I sent.

I use both IE and Firefox. It seemed to effect both.
This just happened to me several times in the last hour while trying to log into my Photobucket account. I did a system restore to an earlier date, and I'm now running a scan. Since I've restored I haven't had the NetDevilz problem, and can log into my Photobucket account without any interference.

ughhh.
they hacked mine. and now it isnt the gray screen anymore, but it keeps changing from a thing like "make your own website"
and another page that says stuff "from photobucket" (i dont believe it ha)
saying that they got hacked, and that they are trying to fix it.

Photobucket haven't said anything formally but it looks pretty clear that it was a dns hack.

Yes, for the last half hour or so the images hosted on photobucket have been coming and going & some have been gone the entire time. I have tried with both IE & Firefox & get the same results. I'll email PB support as suggested, I guess.

i'm on a mac; another thread i read says this may be affecting mac users more heavily than PC, and i can access photobucket from my PC. it's a new mac; i don't have a place to restore to. what should i be scanning for? is this a problem on my end or theirs?

I can get into my photobucket, but I can hardly any images posted from other photobuckets to external sites such as livejournal. Sometimes they're there, more often not.

I use a mac and Safari, but my friend using IE on windows is having the same problems.

Mine is still screwed up - the main photobucket page does not exist for me, and is now redirecting to atspace.com - originally it was to Turkish group - nor does my bucket, nor can I see anyone's pictures in their buckets... I am totally sick of this stuff.

It has finally been fixed for me. I think it was taking a little longer for Comcast users in CA. If you are still having problems either clear your DNS cache or call your ISP and they can usually clear it up for you, or tell you when it will reset.

You can't read about it on the forums if you can't get into the PB site. Is there something we need to do or just sit back and wait for PB to take care of it?

As of June 18 AM, Photobucket is still being redirected to Atspace.com. Image links do not work. Links from the Photobucket page at Wikipedia that are supposed to go to Photobucket do not work either.

They've got me too.
What I find weird is how selective it is.
A couple of my friends have had no problems with their photobucket.
IE, Firefox and Flock, none of those browsers show photobucket, for me at least.

Photobucket itself was not "hacked". It's a DNS issue. They didn't get into accounts. B^P

It appears photobucket as a domain has been hacked. I'm sure they are aware of it and will fix it asap.
