How do I get wavy hair?

Question

I have straight hair, and it is really boring, I wanted my hair to like like the Olsen twins.. kinda bed head chic. How do I do it? :)

Bumble and bumble surf spray is great for that. You can just spray it in slightly damp hair and scrunch it up. I also like to to do this:

and I use the surf spray rather than the spray wax. This is VERY quick and easy and looks HOT!

buy a waver...3 barrell at ulta or walmart.

While its wet put it inot like 8 braids.
In the morning take the braids out & dont brush them or they will get poofy.

get a hair mouse or wave product
run through hair with fingers
use a diffuser on blowdryer
flip hair over
YAY! wavy hair =]

Watch these videos from ghd!! They're awesome and I've used them. Watch the ''beauty wave'' and ''high-glamour curls''. You really do get beautiful waves. It doesn't have to be a ghd. It works with any flat iron. Good luck.

put your hair in braids when it is wet before you to to bed. When you wake up in the morning it will be dry and you can let out your braids. Hope this helps!

After you take a shower put some mouse or gel whatever works best for you put it in a ponytail go to sleep and see if it works in the morning , it works for me

You can always just braid it, while it's wet. It's not permanent but it's free and you get the same effect! = )

After your shower braid it, If you want it to be really wavy then make a lot of braids, if you want it to be slightly wavy then make one braid. You can also use a crimper, or just use wavy hair products.

you can crunch your hair like when u get out of the shower wait till ur hair is almost dry and then crunch it with ur hands and then spray it with hair spray

I suggest you go to your stylist and have her or him style your hair like the Olson twins and teach you how to do it home yourself.

okay there are 2 ways to do this.

1.) Scrunching your hair.
When you get out of the shower, while your hair is still wet, take a bunch of moose and hair gel and run your fingers from the bottom of your hair up all the way to the top. Do it several times until you get it just the way you like it. And when it dries it will have a wet look to it and it will be wavy and messy but a cute messy.

2.) Crimp your hair.
You can go to any store and buy a crimper, they don't cost too much. And then take it home, plug it in, and crimp your hair. It will come out soft, lucious and wavy.

if you make different sized braids while your hair is wet or dry & then take them out the morning after it will work. i sprayed mines down several times with some white rain hairspray. turned out GREAT.

I use a 3 barrel curling/ waving iron. I got it at target, its made by vidal sasoon and it works so good. Its black and has 3 gold barrels. It was about $20 and well worth it. I get a TON of compliments on my hair when I wear it like this
