Pests - Cockroaches, House Centipedes, Spiders, What to do?!?
I'm going crazy. I've just killed 8 baby cockroaches with bug spray, but more and more keep appearing from the bonus room. And I think some of them are resistant to the spray. I thought there was a curious lack of bugs this summer, but now they're back. I've killed a bunch of baby spiders also. And we have problems with house centipedes (*shudder*), silverfish, and ants...and they're all in my room. This is like my worst nightmare come to life. I can't sleep I'm so paranoid. I'm going to try and convince my dad to call up a professional exterminator. We have a basement (littered with bugs probably), 2 other floors, and 6 bedrooms. I live in GA - as an estimate, how much would a one time whole house extermination of the pests I just listed cost? And does anyone have any tips on how to control my irrational fear of any bug/insect like things because honestly, I cry when I have to touch one or go near one. So completely irrational. Help please!

For a quick fix,buy some electronic bug repellent devices. These plug into a mains socket, run 24/7 at minimal cost and deter all types of bugs.
There are several types available,we've PestXit Ultra, which works well.
Professional extermination would be expensive, ask City Hall if they have a Pest Control officer,at least they'll advise,
Consult your doctor about your fear of bugs, this is a common phobia and help is readily available.

you should not kill the house centipedes. they will kill the cockroaches and the spiders for you. I know they are super ugly but they are super helpful. I killed my forever until i found out that they kill the other pests that bother me more. They dont bite humans, look them up and do research. Hope that helps
