Additional Details

Our pool is 18ftx4ft and I bought some strips to see what is missing and a lot of our readings were too high. I took out the chlorine tablets. I added algae remover by directions and some clarifier by directions. We have a sand pump running on it and the cheap one that came with it running.

If EVERYthing was too high.
Your high PH & high Alkalinity will cause grren water at times.
Pour approx. 1/2 cup muriatic acid in one spot, away from the jets & skimmer.
Go back out in about 30 min. & you should see pretty blue water.
In approx. 3 hours, test it. To be sure the ph didn't drop too far.
If it did, add a TBS. of baking soda.
