turn off any acceleration if you have installed...

or..probably network traffic is high, or something..

these will help you...

1. Use Opera browser, it will load faster and smoother, and re-install latest flash.

get the latest flash player, and install it.. make sure all the browsers are NOT running during installation...

OR..

2. It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.
Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline smoothly... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just yahoo or google search "zillatube" to get it.

What do you mean? Youtube do remove videos from their site...If it is an video that is a violation or unecessary, they remove it.

Do you have stupid Google Web Accelerator (or something
similar to it)? If so, then dump it, burn it, trash it, disable it,
get rid of it, uninstall it -- do everything you can to get as far
away from it as possible. Trying to circumvent it by clicking
"Don't Accelerate this Website" will not help you whatsoever.

That being said, my advice below may sound contradictory
to what I have just written above, but please follow it anyway.
(Just pretend it's 2007, and you had never installed GWA.)

If your YouTube is slow/stuck, and you get weird messages
on your screen that don't make sense -- or if people tell you
to change or install stuff:...DON'T TOUCH A THING.

You should never mess with things like java scripts, firewall
settings, flash players, anti-virus programs, activeX controls,
pop-up blockers, browsers or registries. And stay away from
stupid add-ons, downloaders and utilities (like GWA).

None of those things will help you, because your computer
and YouTube were working perfectly fine at one point, right?

The first rule of thumb and best option should ALWAYS be:
don't disable, erase, uninstall, separate, switch, download,
alter, install, change or add anything. Doing those will only
make matters worse for you. (GWA is a good example.)

When slow or weird things happen, clear your "cache" of all
its "temporary internet files", "cookies" and "history" (rather
than adding on useless stuff). Things will probably be better
    afterwards.

If you're not sure how to do this, or if you want extra tips on
how to make YouTube run even faster (all without having to
buy or install anything), then click my avatar and email me.
I will guide you through "cache" clearing plus my other tips
in easy English with full explanations.

Other than that, stay away from YouTube's Beta homepage
and especially avoid any stupid utilities or downloaders that
Y!A people may be shilling -- because their responses have
absolutely nothing to do with your question, and their wares
may actually worsen your problem. Besides, what kind of a
boffo answer is (and I'm paraphrasing)...."Although you can't
even access or watch videos, use this downloader."

[Note: oddly enough, a weird solution that once worked for
me was changing the URL site from "www . youtube . com"
to just simply "youtube . com".]

I have included the full URL web address, plus its direct link:

QUESTION 4 -- Does Google Web Accelerator speed up all
    web pages?

ANSWER -- No, it doesn't....Google Web Accelerator won't
speed up pages encrypted with the HTTPS protocol. Also,
GWA only speeds up web pages, not data downloads such
as MP3 and streaming video files.

Hi there. I also had the same problems and just solved it. For me, it was NOT because of web accelerator, not clearing the cache, copyright infringement, disabling of videos etc. I enabled a WAP secure connection/firewall 2 weeks ago, and the problems started happening soon after. I just disabled my secure connection and I can now watch all those videos, and that annoying message no longer appears. Please note that this results in a less secure connection. I hope there is a way I can still watch my videos while keeping the secure connection. But anyway, that is my quick fix for now. Cheers.
