How to build a recumbent bike seat?

Hi

I'd like tips on how to build a back on a normal bike seat.
My only idea so far is to bend an aluminum tube into a V-shape and weld it to a tightening-ring-thing attached to the seat tube, so that it goes up or down along with the seat.

I hope the description is clear.
Looking foward to your ideas.

Thanks

some folks like to use stacking chairs that have been re-angled seat-to-back.

The replacement fishing-boat seat at walmart has seen some use.

try A.D. CARSON at http://www.recycledrecumbent.com

trouble is all the recumbent seats have two support points, whereas i need a design that will affix to a normal seat tube.
No more ideas by any chance?
