The sound a fox make?

What is the sound called? Like a cat has meow, and a dog has bark. Is there a specific name for the sound foxes make? Also, if anyone has knows what it is in Japanese (Meow = Nyan), that too would be very appreciated.

Foxes bark and screech. It can be pretty freaky to hear in the middle of the night if you don't know what's making the sound.

Depends on the fox. For the most part, most foxes bark, yip, and screech. However, if you are writing a book or something, I would put it in a sentence more or less like this, "I heard the wild yip of a fox calling her kits in the distance."

In English, the official words for foxes are "bark" and "yelp".　　In Japanese it's simply "naku" なく　鳴く and the onomatopoeia is kon-kon こんこん
