How long does it take a type 1 radial head fracture to heal?

I am 19 years old and in good health. I was wondering how long it typically takes a fracture to heal. I was in a splint for four days, and then i started physical therapy. I broke it four weeks ago. I have full range of motion, but still have slight pain. Also, when would it be wise to resume normal activities ( like golf)

The typical time to union is about 6-8 weeks. You're not quite there and having slight pain emphasizes that all the more. Once it is healed that doesn't mean that it is strong, chances are you'll need exercises to strengthen up that area again before you get more aggressive with your exercise. If you're still in PT keep at it for as long as they're working with you, and check with them (just to be on the safe side), as to when you can resume normal activity.
