AWESOME or GINORMOUS yard sale?

How should I title my yard sale ad in the paper to get people there. There will be furniture, home stuff, and maternity, baby-kids gear, toys, clothes. Oprah book club type books, art supplies that I overbuy at Michaels and lost the receipt for, etc. If you were going to rummage sale, what would you look for. For example, typically my key words would be "Little Tykes" or multi-family.

Something for Everybody Sale!

:) Man, where do you live? That sounds like my kind of yard sale! I also dig the non-word ginormous! Good luck!

P.S.
Make sure you post the yard sale info on www.craigslist.com - tons of people check there!

Always say "Huge Multi Family Yard Sale"
then the consumer will automatically think that there will be different styles of furniture, knick knacks, clothes. make sure you say "tons and tons of baby clothes and toys" and also "good solid furniture"

the furniture and baby stuff will go FAST. so price your books cheap and put them where you are taking the money so while they are paying and you are packing up their stuff in a bag, they can add a book or two. It's placement shopping just like grocery stores do!

Also, go to office depot....they have stickers there that say 25cents to $25, it will save you time in pricing. Always have a price on everything!

advertise in the paper, craigslist, and look to see if there are community bulletin boards at your local grocery store.

save some stuff to put out after 11 so your yard sale doesn't look picked through because believe me, you biggest crowds will be there 6am to 11 am
