No, Barry stopped his moment so that he was directly under the foul. It was a great non-call. But, there were more non-calls in that game than I have seen in years. The bottom line is that the officials let both teams play their respective games without turning it into a zebra fest and it turned out to be a classic contest.

I'm not surprised that the whining has already started by the Spurs fans and the media, but the Lakers would have won that game anyway - regardless if it was tied 96-96 after that so-called "foul".

That call would have made no difference at all. None whatsoever.

I'm going to say this again, Even w/ the no call on barry to me it didn't matter. I am a Spurs fan, but the spurs should've played better. If they would've had the lead at all they wouldn't have been in that predicament. Poor rebounding, etc.,. I remember David Robinson saying one time, that teams are going to get favored calls, we just gotta play better than that & be better than that. I also believe refs can swing a game, but to me both teams played about the same, spurs should've just been above that. imo Onto the next one.

He was fouled, anyone who says otherwise is just plain stupid. If its a foul with 10 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter, its a foul with 2 seconds left.

I'm not a fan of either team, and I am not saying that called cost the Spurs the game, but truth is truth. It was a foul!

No, and neither do any of the players and coaches. The only people making a big deal out of this are the media and Spurs fans. It's no big deal.

Well yes and no. One I was at the game and have been watching replays. Watch how Fisher's arm lands on Brent's head and just watch Brent try to stick his head into Fisher's body.

Even LAKERS fan have to admit he was definitely fouled and it was a bad call at a REALLY bad time. Who knows if he would have even made his free throws at the end, but still. I don't care for either team, but the Spurs got completely jipped. You would think the refs would call it since whenever a team is playing at home they usually get all the calls to go their way, but I guess the refs are betting for the Lakers.

It looked like he was fouled, but the refs didn't think so. But he traveled. And remember that Derek Fisher was cheated out of his 17 foot attempt. The refs didn't see that the ball touched the rim.

Sure he was fouled, I guess if by refs not calling fouls gets the Lakers a win then so be it!!! don't even need the players, just let the refs get out there and blow their whistles.......

1. it was a travel
2. refs don't want to decide the game especially during playoffs
3. fisher's last shot grazed the rim so the lakers last posession should have been with the full 24 sec shotclock

Yes it was technically a foul. That being said, it was a good no call. Refs don't like to be in the position of deciding who will win or loose games. The Laker had outplayed the Spurs the whole game and most refs aren't going to make that call.

Berry didn't sell the call. Had he jumped into Fisher at the same time and shot, it may have forced the ref to make the call. Instead, he tried to dribble around Fisher and then shot
