Hotmail blocking my gmail emails?

Ive been trying to send emails to a friend but Hotmail blocked my email. This is the message I got:
"Gmail tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 SC-004 Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. A block has been placed against your IP address because we have received complaints concerning mail coming from that IP address."

I know I havent been spamming her. I know she didnt block me, I called her. She added me to add me to the safe email senders. She also has me as a contact. I have been emailng her for a while now, for a couple of months in fact. She just sent me an email earlier which I tried to respond to until I got that message. I even replied to her before that day and it worked. Also, I scanned my computer for viruses. There arent any. What's going on? Thanks.

[Continued] I looked for answers to this problem, but none of them told me how to actually solve the problem. Again, I wasn't spamming to her. I was just emailing her about how I might have to move. Thanks for helping.

[Edit] Thanks to everyone that answered. Just to let you guys know, I did not send an attachment to her or any link to anything. But the last 2 people already answered my question, thanks. :D

No..not blocked by hot mail there are multiple reason..
1-your id is blocked by the person you are sending email.
2-your signatures mightbe making wrong signal of virus
3-the attachment might be of .exe file,
4-the id of the person is full of its capacity.

Hotmail is currently blocking all emails from gmail. This just started happening on May 27th and I expect that hotmail (microsoft) will fix the issue in the near future.

Hotmail is currently blocking all gmail as far as I can tell. I get the same message as you do.

What you can do, invite your girlfriend to open a gmail account. Now MS is most likely blocking the invitations as well - however if you go into the 'All Mail' section you will see a copy of the invitation with the url in it. Copy this out and send it to her via IM or a different email service. She can open a gmail account and you get to slap MS upside the head as a bonus :)

I tried to reply via Gmail to my high school reunion email-list today and it bounded back EVERY hotmail address on there. Really great Microsoft. Everything you jerks do makes Apple and Google look better...
