Wedding emergency kit.?

You see them for sale on bridal websites, but I thought it would be a cute idea to make up little kits for the bridal party. What sort of items should be included in a wedding emergency kit?
What are some essential items that a Bride, Groom, Groomsmen, or Bridesmaids need to have on hand?

What sort of things did you have at your wedding in case of mishap? Or what sort of things did you wish you had at your wedding?

Do you think a little " wedding survival kit" would make a cute gift to give prior to the wedding?

For those of you who did give these as gifts, did you make your own or buy them?

In my wedding emergency kit for the bridal party and the grooms party I included.

The ladies
A small travel size deoderant, A sewing kit, Hair Pins, bandaids, tooth brushes, mints, dental floss a phone card ( who knows you never know what might happen on your wedding day). Phone numbers for all the wedding party, travel size hair spray , tissues, and a compact.

The fellas
A travel size deoderant , sewing kid , bandaids, tooth brushes, mints, phone cards, phone numbers for the wedding party , razor and travel size shaving cream, dental floss, smelling salts.

At the wedding location : I had a first aide kit, as well as bottled water asprin , tylenol ,midol. Extra panty hose and socks , nail polish remover, as well as nail files , Hair dryer, spritz, mousse, Another sewing kit , a hand held sewing machine , straight pins, & safety pins .

A wedding survival kit is a great idea to give but the honesty about it is with everything going on you are not going to think about it until the last minute. The best bet is to give it to them the day of the wedding before all the craziness starts. That way they just fit and fall into the flow of the madness and mahiem .

    For Girls:

Clear Lip Gloss, powder, extra hose (if you're wearing them at all), a mini bottle of hair spray, a small brush, bobby pins, safety pins, mints, CHOCOLATE, and duct tape (this really saved some dress disasters at my friend's wedding).

    For Guys:

Mints, a comb, and duct tape.

I think that's cute! I would suggest including these items for a bride/bridesmaid:
    Tide pen or Shout wipes
    Extra pantyhose (if worn)
    Clear nail polish
    Small hairspray
    Mouth wash/breathmints
    Small brush
    Bandaids
    Safety pins
    Camera (for bridesmaids)
    Tissues!

    For groom/groomsmen:
    Breath mints/mouthwash
    Bandaids
    Tide pens
    Hair gel
    small comb

    Good luck!

I had made my own for me and the bridesmaids ending up needing to use some of the stuff. It would have been a cute idea for a gift because you can use this stuff at a later time.

I had a tide to go pen
    oil blotters
    saftey pins
white thread (for white shirts, and my dress)
black thread (for tuxes or black dresses)
    needles
    bobby pins
    kleenex
    double sided tape
    wet ones

really anything that you might need

I'm actually doing this same thing, but for bridesmaids only.

    Bridesmaid:
bobby pins, safety pin, mini hair spray, clear nail polish, lip gloss, breath mints, kleenex, double-stick tape, mini comb/brush, Shout wipes, mini lint roller, hard candy (something to suck on for flavor, no chocolate because that could ruin a dress if it dropped out go melted on anyone or any dress), mini deodorant and finally I will be adding in there slipper flip-flops for them to wear after the ceremony.

    Groomsmen:
breath mint, mini lint roller, double stick tape, shoe polish

I think its a great idea....one thing that i think should be added to the groomsmen's kit..... A PAIR OF BLACK SOCKS

this seems to be a big deal actually as you can usually see the socks between the shoes and pants. Most men wear black socks in the wedding.

i would always have handy -
shout wipes (never the bleach pen then tend to "yellow" white)
peppermints (combats bad breath AND jitters)
    nail polish
    hairspray
    spray deodorant
    panty liners
    make-up blotters/oil blotters
    nail glue
    needle & thread
throat moisturizers - not cough drops or candy
black sharpie (mini one for the guys)
    safety pins
    tissues
    hand lotion (unscented)
    band-aids
    wet wipes
    dental picks
lint roller (3M makes these travel "sheets")
windex wipes (couple in a ziploc bag for the guys shoes if they are getting the ones with the tux - works great!)

the rest would depend on time of year, city, type of ceremony and such.
