Is there a FREE ISO to AVI converter?

Question

I downloaded a DVD via torrent and want to burn it onto my own DVD for my own use (I'm not pirating it). I need to convert it to AVI so that I only get the movie, not the previews or the foreign-language version. Is there a FREE DVD-AVI converter software that I can download, emphasis on FREE?

I don't mean free download but only converts a small portion of the DVD since its a trial version, I mean COMPLETELY FREE!!!! No price, no trial version, no conversion limit, nothing, just converts the DVD! I would like it to be simple, but if it's not, I'll figure it out.

Oh, and Steve, what's the difference between me downloading a torrent of the movie and me popping a tape into a VCR and hitting 'Record'? Nothing! If that is piracy, then just about every member of my family should be in trouble!!

ISO is an IMAGE. You can not convert to AVI because they are completely different medias...

How about an ISO READER!!.. ooooh... ahhh... Virtual Drives are kinky....

http://www.daemon-tools.cc/ has a Virtual Drive that you can just Load the ISO to it and it will run like a DVD/CD rom drive... but... it's not.. it's just a folder. =) JUST DO IT!!! That's your option...
