I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz about applicanttree.com, anyone have any info?

I was reading a blog today, and saw mention of this website, Applicant Tree. It seems interesting, any thoughts?

I’m the commodity and I should get paid for my resume. If you saw how much recruiters and employment agencies pulled in a year you'd be green with envy. The trick is they make their money by using us as their "product." To them, we're nothing more than the fictional business school products called widgets. It's about time that we got to share in all of those profits. I'm all for it!

I think it’s a fantastic business model. For far too long, applicants have been bought and traded with no compensation. They’ve been the product of a large industry and it’s about time they share in the profits.

I really like the idea, I think it’s about time somebody came up with this. I know that Monster and CareerBuilder are free to job seekers but I don’t like how just anyone can apply for any job. It wastes a lot of time, from a hiring managers point of view.

Looks kind of stupid - what companies actually pay to look at resumes? I don't believe it and I wouldn't give them all my information.

I have hundreds of friends and associates..........none of the guys/girls have made any money off the net..........if they did they would be talking about it and I would be in on it..........SCAM
