In need of a cute poem for my wedding reception. Venue won't allow clanging of glassware....?
Hi everyone! My Reception venue will not allow the clanging of glassware when guests want us to kiss. I like the idea of guests giving marriage advice if they want us to kiss, but I'm afraid people may be too shy to speak in front of a crowd! I was thinking a poem to sit on the tables so everyone would know not to clang.
Any/all suggestions are welcome!
HELP!!! Thanks in advance!

The clang of glass cannot queue our kiss,
So how about everyone start clapping to take the place of this,
It'll be our special day and we want to share it with you,
But we don't want to annoy or be a shrew, so we offer this alternative to all of you.

They make little bells that you put on the tables. When people want you to kiss, they ring the bells.

at my wedding we had people stand and kiss their partner for us to kiss...
Now, this was 18 yrs ago and the only line I remember is
" stand up with your partner and give them a kiss,
once you have doen this and returned to your seat, we'd be only too happy to stand for a kiss."
It was very cute.

I like the bell suggestion, because it is obvious what the bells are for if they are placed at each setting. You aren't going to prevent everyone from clanging their glasses so let the reception staff police your guests.

We're also using bells. I've listed a link to some inexpensive ones below. The price is per box of 24 bells.
