Audre Lorde?

Question

I am a big big reader but I never heard of her before(no surprise there knowing how radical she was) until now. I have this author or genre project I have to do for my english class and my teacher told me about her! Now, She is one of my favorite authors, poets! Anybody else know who she is...tell me what you like about her..and your interests.

yeah.
we've read about her and a couple of other lesbian poets/writers in my college sociology class.
I've never heard of her before then, but I love how she had enough guts to criticize feminism for only focusing on white middle-class women.

One of my other favorites is Cherrie Moraga. She's great as well.

I heard one quote by her, in the documentary "fish can't fly". It was very insightful. I would like to read more by her, I just haven't yet.
