I'm a Raider fan , and Bo Jackson was fast and Powerful , McFadden is fast but i don't think he is as powerful as Bo was, i mean Bo ran through people and i am talking Defensive Line and Linebackers, after saying that , i hope he can be the next Bo Jackson, but he will have some work to do, then they can make commercials together , the Bo/Darren knows football commercials

You really set the bar high for him, Darren has the skill set to be a dominant back, just not the way Bo did it, Darren may be more dominant in his own way

No one could be like Bo Jackson, too fast, too strong and thats what ended his career. I think McFadden is more like Marcus Allen.

im a die hard raider fan, and although i am not a big lover of them taking darren mcfadden in the draft, i think he will be a great running back. i didnt like his selection because we didnt need a running back, but nonetheless he is awesome, and possibly better than adrian peterson. more speed than him, anyways.

well, i dont think he, or anybody will ever be as good as bo jackson. jackson doesnt have the numbers (because he only played portions of the season and marcus allen took the load) and doesnt have any records (freak injury forced early retirement), but anybody who watched football during that time period knows bo jackson was the best running back over. i mean literally, how do you stop him? well he was huge and a physical specimen, so you should attack him low and need big physical players to stop him. well, heres the problem. he was THE fastest player in the NFL despite being among the top 3 most powerful backs of that era. so, big defenders coudlnt lay a finger on him, and defensive backs were smothered to the ground. unstoppable.

mcfadden, to reach that level, will have to work out nonstop for the next 4 years and still maintain his speed. highly unlikely. bo was the best ever. mcfadden will be great, and may have a hall of fame career, but he's no bo jackson. i think bo may be the only human above chuck norris

Not the next Bo Jackson, but like a mixer of L.T & Adrian Patterson.

If you mean that he can be as exciting and put up similar statistics the answer is YES!!!

McFadden is ideally set up for a one-cut and go rushing attack. This is exactly what the Raiders use. They have a zone blocking offensive line that requires the running back to make one cut and then go. And trust me, McFadden can go (4.33 official, 4.27 unofficial 40-yard dash at the combine). He has the juke and the stiff arm to avoid the tackles. He isnt the same style of runner as Bo Jackson was, but he can be equally impressive. I truly believe McFadden can do to the Raiders offense what LT was able to do for the Chargers offense.

McFadden will be a perennial pro bowler
