Any of the three Bronte sisters, Jane Austen has been considered a gothic novelist, but some only consider Northanger Abbey to be gothic, Bram Stoker, Mary Shelley, and the only modern gothic novelist I can think of besides Anne Rice is Stephen King.

Depending on your definition of the term the early books in Laurell K. Hamilton's "Anita Blake, Vampire Slayer" series would qualify. You could also check out the work of Angela Carter, Elaine Moore, or Les Daniels. I know the history of the Modern Gothic Movement, and of Modern Gothic literature, but I'm not sure what is currently considered to qualify.
