Boy girl relationship?

i have been with my bf for 4years and i wanna break off with him.. I dunno how to tell him cos i have found another guy...

I wanna keep him as a fren and part on good terms.

Pls advice me how do i tell him ?

First off: Make sure you want to do this. Four years is a long time to commit to and impulsive thoughts and actions may happen when you meet someone new. (I know, I like that "butterflies in my stomach" effect.)

If you finally decide to end things with your current guy, tell him that you would think you're better off as friends. "You make me happy and I love you, but I feel like you're my (best) friend and not my boyfriend." My ex let me off easy with this line, but substitute "boyfriend" with "girlfriend."

Don't tell him immediately about the other guy if he's the jealous type. Wait off to publicize your new relationship if your current boyfriend is the jealous type. Saves a lot of trouble.

well i guess just talk to him about it and try explain it in the best possible way really! to be honest your never going to be very good friends just the fact that your leaving him for another man well pretty much crush him which really gives him a good reason not to want to be friends...

open up tell him that you love him...but as a brother let him no that its is you that wants to move on but you value his friendship. give him a little time and be kind.
