What do you think about Rush Limbaugh's wish for riots after the Democratic convention?

During today's show (4/23) Rush made the statement that he is dreaming/hoping for riots after the Dems convention if they choose Hillary over Obama. He even sang his statment to the "I'm Dreaming of a "WHITE" Christmas" tune. It appears to me that he is hoping African-Americans will revolt if Obama doesn't win and in his dreams we would riot and wipe each other out so that he can indeed have a "white" Christmas/country. How did you interpret his comments today?

I don't listen to the shock jocks but it sounds like he just wants Hillary because she would be easier to beat in a general election due to a probable lack of voting by Americans of African decent if Obama loses.

Meh. His cowardly, racist, homophobic, and misogynistic tendencies are well-documented ever since he chickenhawked his way out of Vietnam claiming he had a rectal cyst. If any rioting occurs, I only hope it's not as bad as the "Brooks Brother Riots" staged by Republicans to steal the Florida 2000 vote.

Rush Limbaugh is a Bigot. I'm not surprised at all at anything that boob says. I knew he was a bigot when I heard him sing,"All My Friends Have White Faces" (to the tune of the Garth Brook's song, "I've Got Friends In Low Places") on my local AM radio station. That was 15 years ago. He hasn't changed a bit! He's got to be on drugs (again) to be speaking so stupidly on public radio like that!

He should be put in jail for trying to throw an election. He is not a person who cares about America, he only cares about his name and his ability to create misinformation. The fact that he is the only talk show carried in Iraq for US personnel makes me sick and ashamed.

Rush Limbaugh is a big,fat,idiot. He should be arrested
and prosecuted for inciting a riot if such a thing should
come to pass this August in Denver.
At a minimum,he should be massively fined by the FCC
for indecency in his call for violence and fired by Clear
Channel or penalize them with license revocation on all their
stations which carry his disgusting program.

Living in Denver, I interpert said comment, like I interpert the Rev. Al Sharptons comment that if Obama is not nominated there will be "Trouble" in which case Mr. Limbaugh's statement is going to be right on the money. Being that Denver is right now Ground Zero for the DNC we are going to be up to our eyeballs in all this stupidity. We already have issues with the recreate 68 crowd who are not saying one way or another that they will follow the rules that will be set down to ensure a peaceful and orderly DNC.

Mr. Limbaugh is a very sad character - he has certainly made a lot of money spouting off about things he knows nothing about (being black, for example) and needs counseling for his need to stir up hate. But this takes the cake - I have complained to the FCC that he is advocating breaking the law (no surprise there with his past drug use) - but using the public airwaves to advocate breaking the law should be punishable and he should be severely admonished by law enforcement and fined. The saddest thing is that Clear Channel doesn't care about their reputation that they continue to air this poor excuse of a man's comments. Fanning the winds of hate is not adding to anything in this country except more divisiveness and makes our country weaker - is that his goal - a weaker United States? Hmmmm--- I question his patriotism by doing that. But more importantly why are there people who eat up this kind of violent talk radio? Sad commentary on the state of the population in American that some people like to listen to this drivel.

People need to complain to the FCC, for what he's doing (including coaxing republicans to cross-over to vote for hillary 'just for a day') isn't legal, regardless of how stupid he is.....unless we're stupid enough for another 8 years of the status quo.

That is why the Democrats need to sign on to Operation Unity. Our 'goal' is NOT only a peaceful Democratic Convention, but also to promote an Obama-Clinton ticket in 2008! If Senator Obama cannot contain Right Wing Radio's attempts to turn him into Obama Hussein Bin-Laden...then he should get out of the way before he lets yet another GOP War Monger take office for 4 MORE YEARS!
