HAWK was a shot-running TV show, a police story with a twist. John Hawk (played by Burt Reynolds) was a full-blooded Iroquois Indian working the night beat for the New York District Attorney's Office with his partner Detective Dac Carter (played by Wayne Grice). Together, the officers will come face to face with crime, murder and racism.
