How should one address family members in Hindi or Bengali? What about etiquette?

What's the proper way to address one's family members in either Hindi or Bengali? (Specific words, please?) Is there a less formal form, as in English? ("Mom" instead of "mother", "dad" instead of "father".) Also, does anyone have any general etiquette tips for West Bengal?
