What kind of accessories should i wear with my prom dress to make it look like something out of nylon magazine

i don' t want to wear you're typical prom dress and i have found three dresses i just need help deciding what to wear with them because as of right now they are just boring. i love like mary kate olsen's style and zooey deschanel's style so think of something that maybe they might wear. please help!! i'm in a time crunch and so i'm freaking out and can't think of anything to wear with my prom dress.

i need shoes, jewelry, anything else you can think will complete the look.

I say the second dress would be your best bet. I think it's the most quirky and marykate/zooey-like. Although the strapless reminds me, to some extent, of something Zooey would wear. I suggest going out to a local vintage shop or maybe a thrift store. You could thumb through places like that and find anything that appeals to you. I think you're on the right track, considering the dresses you picked out had a reto-vibe to them. I might play with some costume jewelry or something of the sort. Or you could keep the jewelry to a mininum, like a single gold bracelet and a strand of pearls or a gold locket. Really though, I'd go to a vintage shop. Love love LOVE the first dress, it's absolutely gorgeous!

Since it's strapless you can go crazy with the jewelry. Necklaces, I'd probably pair it with some big chunky silver necklaces and layer it like crazy.

I'd also get some insanely high heels, possibly in a bright colour (you'd have to try it out) something like a patent red, or yellow, or green.

You could also go easy with the necklace and add a brightly coloured waist belt.

Layers of pearls would look awesome with all those dresses too!
