Why are liberals angry at Stephanapolous for asking Obama totally legitimate questions?

Anybody else see the outrage on the part of liberals at ABC because they had the 'audacity' to ask the Holy Messiah Obama slightly tougher questions than say 'do you wear boxers or briefs'?

Imagine for a second that John McCain had had a fundraiser for his campaign years ago with Timothy McVeigh.

How is it unfair to ask Obama about his personal relationship with a DOMESTIC TERRORIST?

Additional Details

Chi Guy:

You're dodging.

I'm speaking specifically of the question regarding Ayers.

Why is Obama FRIENDS with a TERRORIST.

The only reason he isn't doing life in prison is because of a legal technicality.

He planted BOMBS at the Pentagon.

People who are not secure in their positions do not like to be questioned.

Those who are secure, encourage questioning because it gives them the opportunity to convince others.

People like Obama because of emotional appeals and identity politics ("he's a good speaker," or simply "hes black")... nothing that can be logically defended as a good reason to support him. Therefore, they cannot stand it when their position is attacked with logic.

They inevitably will resort to ad hominem attacks ("You are a racist") when cornered with logical attacks that they cannot defend themselves against. This "name calling" is the REAL sign of a losing argument.

I disagree. The first 50 minutes had no bearing on issues that effect everyday Americans.

edit: Bush is friends with the Saudis who fund terrorism throuout the world.

The Clintons are friends with Chinese spies who got caught.

This selective outrage is ridiculous to say the least. That being said I will read up on the relationship in question and forward you my take on it.

For the same reason they would get upset if Obama were to go on Bill O'Reilly's show on Fox.

you're right. they are ligitimate questions, but not for the "debate" format. there's a time for these questions, and it wasn't at a "debate".

About time, He says he would stand up to Terrorists and met with Terror Leaders, but won't debate on Fox, what's he afraid of??? If you can't handle a Fox debate how could you handle a meeting with Terror Leaders???

Obama , (AKA Mr. Change) never tells you what he's gonna change and how he is gonna do it, what a con job, he really has the people fooled. The more Obama gets exposed you see the real Obama a pander to the left wing nuts of his party plain and simple, The Rev Wright are you kidding me!!! you know and I know he knew what the Rev was all about and he supported him, the Bitter comment shows what kind of elitest he is, and he through his grandma under the bus so save his butt.

Bush love him or hate him, he stands by his convictions and draws a line in the sand, Obama would give the terrorists and Iran, Syria the keys to Washington and New York and kiss there a@@.

It was perfectly fair and people should be concerned about a person's character if they are going to be running our country. Their morals usually affect their judgment and determine the choices that they make.

Stop generalizing. I couldn't support Obama less. I'm glad he's actually having to talk about things instead of just saying "Change" 50 times a minute.

Well, I guess this week I am not a liberal...last week I was accused of it. I want those questions asked & answered as well. I don't care if his toes get stepped on, or his relatives toes. His underwear choice is not my concern, his cavorting with & being related to terrorists & racists, & muslims, is my concern, because they all may have an affect on his running this country.

Obama's supporter "honestly," in their delusions, think that these issues have been sufficiently addressed and answered because Obama has addressed them to THEIR satisfaction - a very low threshold.
They haven't been addressed in a way that satisfies most Americans and the questions actually make Obama angry.
His standard answer is "That isn't important" or "Someone else did something similar or worse." The other answer is "I've already answered that."
He knows that he hasn't and is trying to deflect the questions.
His "chickens are coming home to roost.

Both Ayers and Wright think that America is to blame for 9/11 and deserved the attacks. Ayers was even quoted in the NY Times as wishing the had been worse and killed more people.
Obama continues to associate with these radicals.
Obama had a close relationship with Wright for 20 years.
Obama served on the board of the radical far left non-profit Tides Foundation for years with Ayers who was also on the organizing committee for Obama's State senate campaign.
    These are not casual relationships.

Obama supporters KNOW that there is something WRONG with this.
How can they NOT KNOW this?
They want these issues to go away so they don't damage Obama's chances to win.
    They are in DENIAL.

They are willing to sell their souls for an Obama victory.

One thing I know, if any conservative was running for office and it was found he had a "relationship" with a former member of the KKK no one in the media would let go of it. Obama forgets that a person is known by the Company he keeps, between Ayers and his Pastor he has a real problem.
Oh and Chi Guy, Bush is not the subject of this question, and your response has opinions not fact in it.

Truth hurts the Democrats and their image of representing all the people.

Any time you question Obama people scream "RACISM!!!!". There was a story the other day that hinted by calling Obama an "Elitist" you were being racist. So Obama has become some kind of sacred cow for many people.

You know Obama today said to remember Hillary's past, and yet says the past 20 years of his life in a church that preaches hate is something we should all forget and move past.

You know... I will be honest, I actually considered voting for Obama... He had something I thought was interesting and fascinating... but then I realized it was a trick, a lie a dream.

Obama is not something new... he is something old in a new package and with hip new sales pitch.

But the ones he has blinded and love him for it will never see it.

the only thing they see is people putting the truth out there and it putting a negative light on their champion.
