Where is a good place to buy kosher pastries for Passover in Los Angeles?

also need cut fruit that is kosher

Additional Details

I did find a local pastry shop who I called and they said they sell kosher for passover pastries. Also cut fruit must be wtih a kosher knife so it's not like i can go to the grocery store and buy it and it's kosher. I will check out a kosher supermarket and see if they can put one together for me.

even though my kitchen is kosher the family who invited me warned me that if i cut the fruit myself that none of the guests would eat it :( I did find a kosher bakery on Pico who said they have passover pastries, now i'm stuck with finding kosher fruit - i might just take a bag of fruits and let them do the honors. Or maybe i can take fruits that don't require cutting such as berries and take them in their original contianers.

All fruit is kosher
No pastries can be kosher for Pesach

They contain leaven

edit: Here is the closest thing I've found to pastries
http://www.ohnuts.com/cats.cfm?Group_ID=…

And don't forget to kasher the new knife and cutting board

edit: I live where the only kosher food to be purchased is 40 minutes away and only a tiny end cap at Kroger..so what do I know about kosher pastries!!? I've never been to LA so I think I goofed answering this one. LOL
Have a joyous and kosher pesach!

Thanks for all the great answers. I ended up going to Delice bakery on pico and wow the prices were marked up! I spent $48 on 2 small items. Also bot strawberries, blackberries, grapes will keep packaged and put in bowl of host's at their house - I was told not to use my knife, bowls or cook :( w/e.

Sorry I don't know the area as well anymore (if you asked about NYC or Baltimore, I could really be helpful ;)

But I'm pretty sure there are kosher grocers on Pico or Fairfax.

As far as fruit goes, another option is to buy a new knife and cutting board - then you can cut up fruit yourself (might even end up being cheaper!), if the family you're providing the food for trusts you.

Just to add to my answer after seeing your response:

If you keep a kosher kitchen and they won't accept uncooked fruit cut in your house with a new knife, then there are some real issues here with the family you're visiting - the shulchan arech is not that particular, and last I checked, it was the authority. But okay. Whole fruit in a basket - apples, oranges, plums, etc - would be a lovely gift. If you want to do berries, then avoid strawberries, because some of the ultra-Orthodox community have issues with tiny bugs found occasionally in the stems, and won't eat them as a result. Good luck and chag sameach!

'Kosher pastry for Passover' is sort of an oxymoron, because when you cook a pastry it generally rises. At the risk of sounding patronizing, you should not take pastry to the Seder. Take something else, like a nice fruit salad or some chocolate.

Try Fairfax, south of Melrose. There are a ton of grocers, delis, and bakeries.
