What are the best places to use energy efficient lighting?

In areas that are used often such as the livingroom or family room.Actually any place where you use a light bulb is a good place.I use them in all my lamps.

We slowly, one at a time, replaced all the bulbs in our house as they burnt out. Yes, the energy efficiency is nice, but even better is the fact that we haven't changed a light bulb in like a year...lol. They seem pricey on the shelf, but they last 10 times longer than filament bulbs. (depending on use)
