Are these goods troublefree to pack in the bag?

I packed my clothes so as 3 original english and hindi movie DVDs, two boxes of CDs where free softwares are there, one USB Harddisk, A tripod, my DSLR camera, Hindu Goddess laminated photo and few electrical parts and cables in my travelbag.

Only by DSLR camera and lenses will be with my handbag which i will keep inside my flight. Rest of the things will go in checkin.

Are all of these, all of these safe while bagage checking and safe and trouble-free while travelling from india to dubai airport?

The only thing that might be caught out if you are nicked by customs and have to have your bag scanned are the CDs and DVDs. The best scenario is to have them in original packaging with original labels and inserts.

Otherwise, if they look like copies, customs might decide to have a look. I have never been stopped for such a thing in Dubai, only in Qatar and Saudi, but better safe than waiting 3 hours for them to check it.

The rest of the items I have traveled with all over the region without concern, except the Hindu Goddess photo, I carry a small bible.
