Celebrity twins?

Question

what do u think of celebritys having twins recently?! i think they get married late & when decide to have a baby...they can't,so they do ivf,i mean nothings wrong with that,but it's bad to make it something trendy in hollywood!!
come on all these celebritys have twins:
marcia cross , jennifer lopez , angelina jolie , jesica alba,etc...
what do u think ??

I agree. There must be something going on because twins are common, but not that common. It's funny how a lot of these celebrities are older and have a less likely outcome of even becoming pregnant (eg Marcia Cross) she must be in her forties at least. so it can't be likely that she'd naturally conceive twins. Also, how does the answerer above me know that Jennfer Lopez ddn't have IVF? Does she know her? No. We only know what we are told

Most of the celebs lie, I mean come on Michael Jackson denies having any surgery bless him, but it's not washing with us xx

Angelina never confirmed she is having twins and Jessica Alba is only carrying one baby.

the only two that have twins are Marcia Cross and Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Lopez did not do IVF

IVF does increase chances of having twins..but really..there are only 2 sets out of a bunch of celebrities that are pregnant and had babies within the year...

To the person above me - both angelina and jessica ARE having twins. Both have confirmed

Well, I don't think they should be making it trendy, but I think twins are adorable. I want to have twins when I'm older (I'm only 18 so no kids for me anytime soon!) But it is true that the older you are the more likely you are to have twins, so while some of them used IVF some of them might be naturally conceived. :)

I dont know the answer to your question but when women have ivf they usually end up having a litter rather than one or two babies{of course there is always the option of selective reduction i suppose.}

They don't necessarily do IVF. There are infertility drugs after all.

Jessica Alba is not old! :P
The twins could also result from taking Clomid, which is a commonly prescriped pill to help ovulate... And women are having babies later... not only actresses, it's something that you see all around (not saying I'm for or against that phenomenon, just stating it happens more and more)

JLo has said that she did not have fertility treatments. But yes, the reason many of them end up having twins is because of fertility treatments, which are often needed, like you said, because they are older. It also happens alot in cases involving a surrogate, such as Dennis Quaid, Nancy Grace, and sorry, who was that other news person... was it Diane Sawyer?

How can it be a "trend"? It's not something you go out and buy! I'm sure celebrities don't think "hey so and so just had twins, i gotta get me some of those too!"
