The "stream of consciousness" style is a
narrative technique where a novelist describes
the unspoken thoughts and feelings of their characters without resorting to objective description or conventional dialogue. It's also known as an "interior monologue".

Look for a passage where you find out everything the protagonist is thinking and feeling.
