My Camera Won't Format SD Card?

Question

When I Insert The SD Card Into My Camera(which is a Kodak cx7300) It Says It requires formatting. I click continue and then it says it will erase every thing on the card, im ok with that, i clock continue again then it comes up and says formatting, after that it goes back to the first screen saying it needs formatting, i need help formatting maybe i can do it on the computer then put it into the camera

Sounds stupid but is your card locked or it might be too large for the camera to handle..........

Check with kodak to see if the type is correct for the camera.
You might have a bad SD Card!
