Doubleclick on the skype icon either on your desktop shortcut if you have one or in programs. This will open a new window. In this window there are various options including the username/ password options. Below that you will see where it says 'Don't have Skype name' Clicking on that question opens a new window that prompts you to enter all your registration details. I hope this will help. If you have an older version of skype you may want to go to their website and download the latest version which should work as I have outlined.
