    First of all, the music you're asking about is NOT classical music, and your question should have been posted under a more appropriate topic.

    Second, by obtaining free sheet music of compositions that are still under copyright (and in the USA that's nearly everything written since 1923), you are stealing from the composer or songwriter. A composer only makes money when people BUY the music, or from royalties when people PAY for recordings of the music. If you get the music for free then you are reducing the income of the composer, and that is stealing form him/her and his/her family.

    If you want sheet music to a piece that is copyrighted, then pay for it.

    Source(s):

    I am a composer and arranger who has experienced this personally. Someone bought one of my pieces and then gave photocopies to his friends. That took money out of my pocket, money I would have made if the thieves had not violated US Federal Copyright Law, and had instead purchased a copy of the music.

    Go here:

    Almost any of these publishers would be more than happy to tell you where to go.
